We came here in July 2009, after not getting in at Jamie's Italian - a ridiculous wait for a Wednesday evening - and other local restaurants being rejected for obscure reasons.
We had to fight our way past a photographer tkaing pictures of the outside for an newspaper article or something.
Its a modern poncey Indian, with no sub-continental front of house staff but lots in the kitchen.
Portions were smaller than in traditional Indian restourants but the quality of the food was good. I had a whole baked fish, and other GOGs had oxtail and lamb. I think we drank large bottles of Indian Pale Ale which was very toothsome.
